Dakota State University


Dakota State University is a state funded college found in Madison, South Dakota. The college has an innovation driven center with projects in PC and data science, business, instruction, characteristic sciences, human sciences, among other graduate and undergrad programs. 

The college obliges all full-time college understudies to utilize tablet PCs and laptops as a part of their classes alongside taking a prologue to PCs course and a starting programming course as a component of their educational program.

DSU is represented by the South Dakota Board of Regents and licensed by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In 2004, 

DSU was assigned by the National Security Agency as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education. 

In 2012, DSU got two more assignments from the National Security Agency: National Center of Academic Excellence in Research and National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations.

DSU is home to the Smith-Zimmermann Heritage Museum and the Karl E. Mundt Library and Archives. Its athletic mascot is the Trojan and it is an individual from the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and is a contract individual from the North Star Athletic Association. Dr. Marysz Rames is at present serving as between time president.

As of the Fall 2014 semester, its aggregate understudy enlistment was 3,047, of whom 44.8% were ladies, and its aggregate staff check was 101.
